"If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.”

Simple Gifts Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that was started to pass along a smile to a child who is confronted with a hospital stay due to an acute, chronic, or terminal illness. Hospitals are sometimes scary places, and we want to help ease the pain by sharing a "smile." Simple Gifts Project works with school groups, scout troops, youth groups, and individuals by creating, filling, and distributing Smile Bags to pediatric patients. It is a way that kids can give back to their community and pass along a little cheer to children in need of a smile.
Thank You to the Mill Creek Elementary Girl Scout Troop!
Thank you to the Mill Creek Elementary School Girl Scout Troop for collecting items and filling 25 Smile Bags! These great kiddos took time out of their last GS meeting of the year to spread smiles and kindness to those in need. I hope we can work with these wonderful students and their leaders again in the future!

Thank You to the William Tennent HS Key Club
Thank you to this amazing group of students from WTHS! They collected items and packed over 75 Teen Bags for patients in local hospitals. This is the 6th year that we have worked with this incredible Key Club and their mentors. Thank you for all of your support over the years!
Kindness and Smiles are Springing Up All Over!
Thank you to this amazing group of students from New Hope-Solebury High School. Last week we met with their Key Club for our second annual packing event. This group, of over 80 students, helped to fill Teen Bags for us. They collected money for Simple Gifts Project through a special Egg Your House Fundraiser. We are so very grateful for the generous donation of both their time and money to our cause. We are already looking forward to going back again next year!

Thank You to the Log College MS Kindness Club
Early in March, we had the pleasure of once again working with the Kindness Club of Log College MS. This wonderful group of 6-8th graders collected items for and helped pack 50+ Smile Bags for patients in Abington Hospital. We were joined by Maya, the Roxy Service dog, and there was fun for all…canines and humans alike. SGP can’t wait to come out next year and hang out with this incredible group again!
Thank You Barclay Elementary Second Graders!
We had our 2nd annual Smile Bag filling event with Barclay Elementary Second graders and they filled over 100 Smile Bags! These amazing students raised over $300 to help buy some of the supplies for those Smile Bags. The kids also made kindness bookmarks that will be shared with other students, and each class made their own Kindness Quilt poster at the event too! Thank you for sharing your generosity, creativity, and kindness with others! Check out more photos of the event in our Photo Gallery.

Kindness Spreads at Barclay Elementary this Fall!
Thank you to Barclay Elementary 2nd Graders for inviting Simple Gifts Project into your classrooms again this year. We were so excited to be back at Barclay with some fun kindness “lessons” in October and November! Together we read a book about Mary and how her kindness spread through her community. We also did a demonstration showing how “kindness” spreads like colors. We also had time with some classes to make our own stickers to give to someone in need of a smile. It was great meeting these wonderful students and we can’t wait to see them all again at the Smile Bag Filling Event in January!
